People resist change because it’s hard and scary! 😟
Here are three tips for leaders to align people to the change:
➡️Explain the why. What does it mean for them and their role?
➡️Change your language. Replace scary words like ‘change’ with ‘growth’ or ‘evolution’. Instead of saying “we’re undergoing process changes”, tell them “we’re improving the way we do things”.
➡️Encourage a growth mindset. Tell them that mistakes are ok and are learning opportunities rather than failures.
